HOW FRESH ARE YOUR COFFEE BEANS WHEN THEY ARE SHIPPED?

Coffee is a beloved beverage that is enjoyed by millions of people around the world. However, to truly enjoy the rich and complex flavors of coffee, it's important to use beans that are at their peak freshness. This raises the question, when do coffee beans reach peak freshness after being roasted?

The answer is that coffee beans typically reach their peak freshness around 5-14 days after roasting. During this time, the beans go through a process called degassing, where they release carbon dioxide that has built up during the roasting process. If you try to use coffee beans too quickly after being roasted, you may notice a harsh and bitter taste as the carbon dioxide interferes with the extraction process.

At Moerah, we understand the importance of using fresh coffee beans. That's why we only roast our beans after an order is placed by the customer, ensuring that they arrive to your door only at peak freshness. We also offer a range of different roasts, from light to dark, so you can choose the perfect roast for your taste preferences.

To further ensure that our coffee beans are always fresh, we use high-quality packaging materials that help to preserve the flavor and aroma of the beans. Our packaging includes a one-way valve that allows carbon dioxide to escape while preventing oxygen from entering, keeping the beans fresh for as long as possible. HOW SHOULD I STORE MY COFFEE?

All MOERAH'S COFFEE comes in an opaque bag with a gas valve. This approach to packaging keeps out humidity and light, the enemies of fresh coffee. It also allows carbon dioxide (a byproduct of the roasting process) to escape from the bag through the one-way gas valve. Didn’t know you’d be getting a lesson here, did you? Anyway, all you need to do is store at room temperature to retain freshness for up to 4 weeks after opening. It’s that easy!

IS YOUR COFFEE REALLY THE BEST?

We roast-to-order on a daily basis (M-F) to ensure freshness. YES, our coffee is specialty grade and is among the top 2% of beans in the world. It’s the BEST coffee that money can buy. Because it’s roast-to-order, most orders ship in 3 business days, then add another 3-5 days for delivery. Trust us, it’s worth the wait!

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER FROM YOUR WEBSITE?

Placing an order should be quick and simple.  First, you can see all of our products categorized in the menu section.  If you are on a computer, the collection list should be at the shop section with options like Single-Orgin Coffee, Blended Coffee and our Best Sellers.

After landing on a page with products, you can click the product you are interested in.  On that product page you can select the various options.  For example, if you are buying a shirt, you can select the size, if you are buying coffee, you can select a subscription like weekly, or monthly, or just a one-time purchase.

After picking an option, select "Add to Cart" which should create a pop-up to either "view my cart," "Checkout," or "Continue shopping"  Note that you can always go back to the cart at any time with the little cart symbol at the top right of your computer or phone.

From your cart you can progress through the payment process including your information, your shipping location, your payment info, and don't forget, YOUR PROMO CODE.  All first time customers can use SAVE5.

Note that if you chose a subscription, you will be prompted to create a login, so that you may update your subscription in the future.  Subscription login is always available from the menu on the homepage.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

We ship anywhere in the USA.

- International shipping is available, but please note that it is slow and expensive.
- Most international orders ship best via USPS 1st class International.
- International orders cannot be guaranteed for delivery and are not refundable.
- Customs fees and duties are not included in the amount billed by the app.

WHAT SHIPPING METHODS ARE AVAILABLE?

We ship all of our products through the USPS. As our bags of coffee are roasted to order, the order to ship time is about 3-5 business days. Delivery is about 1-5 days after shipped.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, as well as other payments. Options to pay are available at checkout as well as shown at the footer section.

IS YOUR CHECKOUT SECURE?

We use PayPal and Stripe which are among the safest payment processing services on the internet.

HOW DOES THE SUBSCRIPTION WORK AND HOW CAN I UPDATE IT?

Every coffee subscription or any other product that may have a subscription should come with a prompt to create a login.  Please ensure you use a good email address for this because alerts of your subscription will be emailed here.  After you create the login credentials, you can login at any time from "Manage my Subscription"  from here you can change anything from your roast, number of bags, or sadly if you need to pause or cancel.

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

When we ship your coffee, an automatic email with a tracking # will be sent to your email address on file.

HOW CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER AFTER IT'S BEEN SUBMITTED?

Email us brewd@moerahcoffee.com if you would like to update or cancel your order. Please include your order number in the email subject. We will always do our best to make changes!

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

Start by notifying us at brewd@moerahcoffee.com. Please state the reason for the refund request (damaged, wrong size, etc. ). Be prepared to provide any pictures of damaged goods. DO NOT SEND THE COFFEE BACK. As a food product, we cannot accept any returned products.

WHERE DO WE SOURCE OUR COFFEE BEANS?

At our coffee company, we source our beans globally to find the best possible flavor for each roast or blend. Our beans come from regions all over the world, including Africa, Central and South America, and Asia. While our beans are globally sourced, our roasting partner is a family-owned company based in Temecula, California.

We take pride in our commitment to sourcing the highest-quality beans from ethical and sustainable suppliers. We work directly with our partners to ensure that our beans meet our strict standards for flavor and quality.
